I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone involved with the Guinea Pig rescue centre.
At my daughters latest asthma check we were basically told that we needed to find Mr Nibbles a new home as he was affecting my daughters chest.
A friend of mine had recommended the centre and after just a few emails Mr Nibbles was taken into foster care by a very lovely foster mum called Katie.
I am very confident that Mr Nibbles will be happy in his new home.
Thank you very much
PS We do miss Mr Nibbles so please give him a cuddle from Katie, Lana and Tom x

Hi Helen, a huge thank you for all your help with our 2 sows.
With great sadness we had to rehome our piggies due to personal reasons, and Helen quickly came to our rescue and offered to take them in and find them a perfect new forever home. We met up with her and her daughter to transfer the girls into her care. It was upsetting but i knew they would be so well looked after and would soon find a great new home to call their own.
We get updates of how they are doing, and it has made the world of difference knowing they are safe and will have a secure future thanks to The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue.
Many thanks and kind regards, Kelly + family x

Hi Helen,
I just wanted to post a big thank-you for all of your help and support over the last couple of months!
Just a quick recap of the story:
My boar Charlie had become very quiet and withdrawn after his cage mate Harry passed. I wasn't aware I could bond a male guinea pig with any other than their siblings. That was until I stumbled accross the rescue. Charlie now lives happily with little 'Teddy' George :)
During the process of boar dating I had stumbled accross a gorgeous pair that I instantly fell in love with! (Jack and Bailey) but as boars rarely work in a trio, they were not an option :( weeks later I could still not stop thinking about them and contacted the rescue. They now live happily with me :D
This has been an amazing past couple of months and the boys are so happy! :) Thank-you again for everything! :)
Love from Kym, Charlie, George, Jack and Bailey x

Dear Helen & Claire, just to say a big thank you for all your help ever since we discovered one of our 3 'female' guinea pigs was pregnant!! You advised us during the pregnancy about care of Molly, our expectant mum & on separating our now fighting males! A great help to have experts at the end of the phone! When our litter of 5 gorgeous pigs arrived before Christmas you gave more advice and sexed them for us, enabling us to rehome one of our adult boars with a baby boar. Keep a young sow with Molly and and castrated dad! And then you took our last 3 baby boars for 'boar dating'. You really have been too kind!

Have just read the amazing, heartwarming stories on your site. My first ever rescue piggie (Mr Patches) passed away a couple of days ago from a tumour, leaving me completely heartbroken. Reading those stories gave me real comfort knowing that there are others out there who care so deeply for these all too often forgotten 'pets'. Well done to you and everyone who takes in a needy piggie. XX

Hi Helen!
Thank you so much for all of your help, it was wonderful to see all of your piggies.
Lilly my little pig was so upset when her friend Tilly died of diabetes. She stopped eating or going outside and we were very worried. We contacted you to get another friend for her and that’s when we all met Angel. They loved each other straight away and squeak VERY loud if they can’t see each other! I am totally smitten with by girls and I am now (with the help of my dad!) creating more room so I can give a forever home to some more unwanted piggies :)
Thanks again, Sarah

Thank you so so much for taking in the two little boars I rescued. They were in a terribly neglected state with dreadlocked fur and numerous bites from where they had been fighting. These poor piggies had been kept in a garage with no windows for the whole two years of their life and I just couldnt leave them there, although I couldn't keep them myself. You do an amazing job and I cant wait to see them and all the other rescue guinea pigs rehomed. Thanks once again!!!!

Basil and Herbie have been living with me for over a week now and so far things are going well! I fell in love with them at first sight and they are 2 gorgeous little guinea pigs. They love playing and running around at top speed and even though Basil grumbles at Herbie from time to time, he cries if ever he can't see Herbie!
Thank you for letting me have them and for the advice you have given me since.

Having made the difficult but necessary decision to give up my two 'special needs' boars,I did a lot of research to find the best possible hands to entrust them into. The 200 mile round trip was more than worth it. I could not have been more heartened and comforted that they were going to a truly wonderful place. Helen and Claire are tremendously pleasant, caring and knowledgeable ladies. The boys and I cannot thank you both enough x

Absolutely wonderful rescue center. Helen and Claire could not of been more helpful. We came on Boar dating for our piggie Dylan as he had lost his companions and he bonded with a lovely Golden pink eyed wonder called Arnie. They are know snuggled up together in there house but we keep hearing the little one thundering round it so cute. We also came away with 2 lovely boys Foxy and Choco who i believe were not easy to handle when they first came in due to not being treated very nicley however they are a credit to you as they are 2 calm well adjusted piggies now.
I am so in love with my new little Piggles.
